Auf dem neben stehenden Foto siehst Du die Anwendung. Diese keramischen Platten kaschierten die unschöne Ecke neben einem Holz-Kohle-Ofen und ließen mittels der Durchbrüche die warme Luft ideal zirkulieren.
This ceramic fire screen requires a little explanation. A picture says more than a thousand words.
The photo shows the fire screen in place. It would be used to hide the dead corners either side of the wood or coal-burning stove. The carved-out sections allowed the warm air to circulate properly.
